Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is the most original store in Beirut. The name itself is very unusual yet so memorable, thanks to Mary Poppins and our childhood memories. Supercali (let's stick to this abbreviation) opened more than 2 years ago in beautiful Saifi Village area and has now expanded buy introducing a CANDY corner in ABC mall, with plenty of extravagant goodies and sweets, huge lollipops, funny bubble gums and other magical surprises.

Bobbi Brown & Katie Holmes

American actress Katie Holmes has partnered with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics as the brand’s first-ever celebrity face. The partnership will appear in spring 2013 print ads and other publicity. Bobbi will be the lead makeup artist at the Spring/Summer 2013 Holmes & Yang Fashion Show, the eponymous line founded by Katie Holmes and celebrity stylist Jeanne Yang. 

Summertime's almost over

Not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet... Winter definitely has its perks : delicious

fondue and raclette dinners, chimney fires, hot chocolate & marshmallow bonanza, snowy getaways, fuzzy socks, and of course, Christmas. 

But how to fight my bad-weather blues? Extra weight blues? (Too)white skin blues?
As tanning lines start to slowly (but surely) fade away, and some strange feeling of melancholy makes its way in, I try and look for ways to force-"yaaay!" myself into Winter Mode. 

After a bit of research (and a nice cup of tea I tend to snub during summer), here are a few discoveries which should help us get through the end of summer!

Dolce & Gabbana's ad campaigns have always been among the greats, but these past two seasons have GOT to be the best. They're simple and "very Dolce'". Monica Bellucci joins top model Bianca Balti and Bianca Brandolini for a 'mise en scene' and homage to Italian heritage. The traditional italian family, and especially the sensual Italian woman, represents the brand perfectly and adds the ultimate 'oomph!' to the image. I could watch these again and again. Thank you Giampaolo Sgura!
